Read Works has been attached to google classroom, so students can access the assignments there. Your login and password are the same as google classroom.

Before we meet you need to do step 1 in math.
Math
Step 1 Go to ThinkCentral (Go Math online) Open up “My Library” then open Go Math Student Edition eBook- Read and do pages 585-586.
Step 2 After we meet- Do Lesson 10.1 in Think Central- Log in to Think Central go to Things to Do and choose Lesson 10.1 and do all of the assignment.
Reading:
Log in to My View-I have assigned Genre Historical Fiction. Read and study the anchor chart. In your own words write a short paragraph describing historical fiction. While you are reading the story keep in mind these characteristics of historical fiction.
Listen to or read,” Ezekial Johnson Goes West” on My View.
Language
If you scored 70% or lower or did not complete last week’s Study Island capitalization assignment then you need to watch the capitalization video and do sentences 1-6 on the worksheet attached to today’s assignment.
If you scored higher than 75% you will write 6 sentences. You need to use one of the following in each of your sentences. You can’t use the same one twice.
• names of people, places, products, clubs, and organizations.
• main words in the titles of books, stories, poems, and songs.
• days of the week, months of the year, and holidays.
Spelling-
Do flashcards on Study Island. ( You can do the Spelling City assignments ahead of time if you want. Be prepared for the spelling and vocabulary tests on Friday)
Social Studies-
Go to USA Studies Weekly online. Open Week 13- Read or listen to the first two article, “A Party in the Harbor” and “Proclamation of 1763” You can answer the questions for REV coins.

Math- Open Think Central Do extra practice assignment for lesson 10.1. I have also attached a review video for converting customary lengths. In places it asks you to take notes. You do NOT have to take notes, but can if you want to.
Reading
Reread or listen to the story, “Ezekial Johnson Goes West”. Answer the comprehension questions using complete sentences. Be sure to use information from the article to answer the questions. Submit the assignment to Google Classroom when you have completed it.
HOW TO ANSWER and SUBMIT THE QUESTIONS ON GOOGLE:
1. Open the document
2. Save the document to your google drive
3. Then open the document in your google drive
4. Answer the questions on the page
5. When done: go to submit assignments, click on add link. This will take you to your files, find the assignment and click on it. Then turn in the assignment
Language Arts- Writing City Go to Writing City.com. I have given you an assignment on opinion writing. For these lessons you will do them in the order that they are assigned. You must do at least 4 assignments a week, but you can work ahead if you want to. Your log in for this is the same as your Spelling City. last name first initial.fhasd Your password is your initials and birthdate.
Spelling- Complete at least 1 Spelling City assignment.
Social Studies- Read the article called “Mounting Tensions.” We will discuss this when we meet on Wednesday. Make sure you can discuss how each of the events led to the Revolutionary War. You can answer the questions for Rev coins.
