We believe in providing a balanced curriculum for our students at Myer Elementary School. To this end, we provide opportunities for students to participate in curriculum beyond the Reading, Writing, and Arithmetic. It is our philosophy that students can show abilities and strengths in a variety of areas. All students at Myer School have classes covering;
In addition to these studies, students attend recess twice daily. Students need to develop teamwork and the sense of fair play that will provide them with skills they will use throughout their lives. Recess gives students the opportunity to practice good sportsmanship while also providing needed ‘brain breaks’ which prepares them for continued learning within their school day.
