For math this week we will review fractions by playing an escape room game! Before beginning the activity, please watch the Escape the Galaxy Tutorial. Players will need access to a google account to access the game and its contents. Players will need to “make a copy” of the google documents needed when they access a room. This allows players to move pieces, edit text, etc. to complete the puzzles. The game should take students around 45 minutes to complete the activity, depending on internet connectivity and students’ problem solving abilities.

For our next Zoom meeting on Wednesday, May 6th, Ms. Bronson will be joining us and leading a fun science activity with our class! The activity is called "Earth Parfaits". The students will be making a simple model of an aquifer out of sweet treats. They will then "contaminate" the surface water with sprinkles and watch it infiltrate into the groundwater. At the end, with parent's permission, they can eat their aquifer! Students will need a few supplies to make their earth parfaits. Please see the attached list. Please have the items ready to use during our Zoom meeting next Wednesday. I look forward to our science activity!
