Coach Beaman
Hello! My name is Ginger Beaman and I'm the Physical Education teacher here at General Myer Elementary School. This is my 18th year teaching and my 10th school year with General Myer.
I was actually born and raised here in Sierra Vista, and after graduating from Tombstone High School, I went to Midland College, in Texas, on a softball scholarship. After two years, I transferred to Oklahoma Panhandle State University where I received my bachelor’s degree in music with a minor in physical education & health.
In 2009, I received my master’s degree in elementary education from the University of Phoenix.
During my teaching experience I've had the opportunity of teaching kindergarten, K-8 music, K-8 PE/Health, and 5th grade. I truly enjoy connecting with students across different ages and subjects.

Outside of the classroom, I have two amazing boys. Brysen is in 7th grade this year and Brady is a freshman in high school.
I'm looking forward to another great school year and hope to share my love for sports and physical fitness with all of my students!
