     Welcome! I hope you have had an enjoyable and relaxing summer.

About Me

   My family moved to Sierra Vista when I was 3. I consider myself an Arizonan and love living here.  I graduated from The University of Arizona with a bachelor's degree in education and later with a Master’s in teaching at risk youth. Teaching has been my passion for 35 years.   Most of that time has been spent teaching 5th grade.  I have taught in California, Phoenix, and for the past 24 years here at Ft. Huachuca. In fact, coming back to Sierra Vista and teaching on post inspired me to continue teaching. Teaching at Myer and working with military and military affiliated families is amazing. 

    I am married and have a daughter.  Kevin, my husband, and I have been married for 34 years.  Kelsey, my daughter, is 28   She attended Myer for elementary school.  Our family enjoys camping, riding our motorcycles, boating, and traveling.  We also have one four legged family member, a dog named Mali.
